Troubleshooting - How to fix 'Unable to connect 2 phones' 'only connect to one phone at a time'

If you encounter the following issues when using DuoMon or DuoMon Egg:

Please first check how many Pokemon GO Plus devices appear in the game settings.

Why Unable to connect 2 phones

If only one "Pokemon Go Plus" appears, one of the buttons on your device may be in sleep mode.

Check the status of the device to see if one of the buttons is in sleep mode.

The following methods can determine if the button is in sleep mode:

  • [Sound Off] Slide the switch from OFF to ON; light up three green lights. After pressing the menu button, there is no sound announcement.
  • [Sound On] Slide the switch from OFF to ON; light up three green lights. After pressing the menu button, the device announces "Sleeping Mode."

How to disable sleep mode?

If the button is in sleep mode, press and hold until the light returns to green and announces "not connecting."

Afterward, two Pokemon GO Plus devices will appear in the game, and you can connect two phones.

Why only connect to one phone at a time

 If two "Pokemon Go Plus" appear, but you can only use one phone at a time, you may have connected both phones to the same button.

(A button can only connect to one phone at a time, so in this case, both phones cannot be used simultaneously.)

  • Correct: 1P -> Phone 1, 2P -> Phone 2
  • Incorrect: 1P -> Phone 1 & Phone 2, 2P -> unpair

Please clear the game records and Bluetooth records on both phones and re-pair them.

For detailed steps on clearing and re-pairing, please refer to this article.
