FAQ

Q1：How to pair GO app to CatchmonX ?

1. Insert 2x AAA batteries and turn your cellphone’s Bluetooth ON.
2. Open the GO app / In Map View, touch the Main Menu / At the top right, touch Settings / Connected Devices and Services / Select “Pokémon® GO Plus”
3. Decide which colors button (1P/2P/3P/4P) on MEGACOM Catchmon X you want to pired with and press it, the Pokeball under "Available Devices List" will flash green in the middle. (Please note 1 button can only connect to 1 phone. Do not connect 2 phones to the same button)
4. Select the Pokémon® Go Plus which is flashing green light. That’s it! After pairing, you can simply reconnet by touching the icon at the front page. Embark on your epic GO adventure with your auto-catching and collecting device!

For iPhone: If you can't see devices under availible devices, go to PHONE settings, find Pokémon® Go APP and turn on the Bluetooth permissions. If still not works, uninstall and reinstall the Pokémon® GO app.

Q2：Why can't my CatchmonX connect to 4 phones?

1. Please make sure the button is not in sleep mode (red light on after power on), as it cannot be detected by the phone in sleep mode.
2. Please make sure the phone is not connected to a paired button. One button can only pair one phone. If two phones are paired to the same button, they cannot be used simultaneously.

*Important* When pairing, press the button on the device, wait for the green light in the center of the Go Plus ball to flash, and then click to connect. This step can ensure you connect to the correct button you want to pair with.

Q3：Why can’t I connect to Catchmon X?

Make sure the Bluetooth on your phone is ON and “Do not disturb“ mode is off. And try clear all the connection record on your phone, then reconnect agian.

1. Clear the Game record and Phone Bluetooth record:

• Go to Phone settings > Bluetooth > find Go Plus > forget the device.
• Go to Pokémon® Go settings > Go Plus > tap the triangle beside Go plus.

2. Pair Pokémon® GO app with Catchmon X again! (If still not works, Restart the phone and Reinstall Pokémon® GO app and repeat the steps above again.)

Q4：Why Catchmon X stop collecting items or catching Pokémon®?

1. Your bag or Pokedex might be so full that it cannot collect item or catch Pokémon® anymore.
2. You might have run out of Red Pokeballs.
3. Go to Notification in the GO Plus setting, TURN ON the “Nearby” notification. (If you TURN OFF the Notification, CatchmonX won't catch Pokémon® or spin Pokestops nearby.)
